The Franklin Pierce Help Desk is staffed between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM on Monday through Friday and is located on the lower level of the DiPietro Library building.
The Help Desk Coordinator enters all service requests into our ticketing system and assigns them to the appropriate staff member. Requests can be made by phone (x4214), by email (email@example.com) or by visiting the Help Desk service site online.
Service requests submitted outside normal business hours will not be checked until the next business day. Emergency calls after hours regarding system-wide outages should be directed to the switchboard operator at 603-899-4210.
The PaperCut system supports printing, copying, and scanning on campus. A user retrieves their document(s) at one of the public multi-function devices by swiping their ID card, typing in their ID card number, or by entering their network credentials (username and password.)
TV & TELECOM
Cable Television : The University’s cable system is provided to all campus residences. Your TV must have an internal digital QAM Tuner to work on the cable system or you need to purchase a specific converter box for your TV.
Phone & Voicemail : Franklin Pierce provides local landline dial tone and voicemail to all students and residences upon request.
MEDIA SERVICES & THE DEPOT
The Media Services team manages, operates and maintains the University's media equipment and services. Equipment reservations for classroom use should be made at least 48 hours in advance by calling Mark Thamm, Media Services Specialist, at x4141. Hours of availability are Mon - Fri from 8AM - 4:30PM.
A limited number of Apple DisplayPort > VGA adapters for Macs are available for short-term student use upon request. Visit the Media Services office on the 2nd floor of the DiPietro Library to check one out.
The Depot (x4043 - student attendant) provides the Franklin Pierce community with professional grade video and audio field equipment for student productions, and maintains six non-linear editing suites that feature Final Cut Pro software. Located on the 3rd floor of the Fitzwater Center, the Depot is managed by Gregory King, Media Technical Specialist. He is available Mon - Fri from 8AM - 4:30PM at x4037.
